FAQ'S

How physically demanding is the work?

So, it's true, cleaning houses is work and it will require some level of endurance. Not to worry though, it builds as you grow your business. I didn't start out fit. But, as I've grown my business, my fitness has grown too! What a great benefit! Now, I have plenty of strength, energy and endurance. It feels great getting to take care of my body and getting paid well in the process!

How much is it going to cost to get started?

One of the great aspects of this green cleaning business is the low startup costs. For the price of ONE average monthly house cleaning, you can enjoy ALL the benefits. We're talking the equivalent of 3-4 hours of work a month, or $125, to become a Kay's Clean Academy member. You'll be equipped with the training, supplies, support, tech and marketing materials you need to be a success!

Let's face it. Technology is expensive. As a member you'll also be by-passing the enormous cost of all the tech and creative services. Website, email, writing, hosting, design, print marketing materials and ongoing web support are all included in your membership.

We also give a 20% discount off all cleaning products we offer. If that's not sweet, I don't know what is!

Remember, that when a client says "yes" to a weekly $125 cleaning, what they are really saying is, "I will pay you $6500/year to clean my house once a week." When you put it into those terms, you begin to realize that it doesn't take too many clients to get to where you want to be. In most cases getting 8-10 quality clients can completely fill up your schedule.

Why are you giving away your secrets?

There's no doubt this business has been a huge blessing to our family. Since the beginning of Kay's Clean, we've seen first hand God's faithfulness. We've also seen the immense opportunities out there for those who are willing to step out in faith and think outside of the box.

In short, there are plenty of houses available! And it's a win/win for members and clients alike. Our heart is to serve and share this amazing opportunity. We want to expand Godly influence in this industry. We want to see women gain confidence and excel in all areas of life, from work to family to sharing the unique gifts they possess. You have dreams, you have callings. We want to help you fulfill all God has for you.

How long should it take me to get up and running?

Obviously, this will be different for every person, but if you're working on your new business 10 hours a week it would be realistic to start going on bids and talking with potential clients in a matter of weeks.

Remember, that when a client says "yes" to a weekly $125 cleaning, what they are really saying is, "I will pay you $6500/year to clean my house once a week." Is this business right for me?

Non-negotiables

1. You must be willing to take action. I'll teach you all I know but you still have to do it.

2. You must be willing to work. Period. This is not a pie in the sky, smoke and mirrors sort of "opportunity." This is good old fashioned "service in exchange for pay" sorta work. And it's good pay.

3. You need a positive attitude. This business is amazing. You've got to set that in your heart from the beginning.

4. Butterflies before a meeting are normal but if you are deathly afraid to talk to people, you're going to have a hard time. Being able to answer questions and carry on a cordial conversation is necessary for success in this business.

5. A heart to serve and integrity that comes from a life submitted to Jesus. There's just no room for mediocrity. And in our own strength, we can only do so much. Jesus will help you be amazing :)

6. Everything I teach is coming from a biblical perspective. If that bothers you, you're going to be bothered throughout the whole program. Just sayin'.

7. It helps to appreciate order. You may not know how to keep order yet, and that's okay because I can teach you that but you need to at least value order and cleanliness to do this business well.
